Death of Br Damian SSF

Brother Damian died peacefully on Sunday 17th January at about 7 a.m. in S. Oswald's Hospice. Please pray for Mavis, Damian's sister at this time. The funeral will be at S. Michael's Church in Alnwick on Wednesday, 3rd February at 1 pm. After the service there will be a buffet. Damian's body will be taken to the crematorium from the Church at 2.30 for a private service. (The crematorium is some distance away.) No flowers by request. Damian's body will be taken into the Church the previous evening at 4 pm. Accommodation at the friary will be limited as there are already guests booked in. It would help John to know if you plan to be at the funeral for catering purposes. Damian's ashes will be buried at Hilfield in due course.
